If you define both masculinity and femininity as absolute social constructions and femininity as oppression and masculinity as freedom then the logic is everyone should be masculine and gender would be abolished when everyone is masculine.

"If we define slavery and slave-ownership as social constructions and we abolish slavery then everyone will be slave-owners"

Is this for or against the idea of abolishing gender?

We all know and people always knew what slavery was. We knew what freedom was. We can pass laws to abolish it and enforce it.

Nobody seems to know what abolishing gender would be like. There are societies without slavery but there are no societies without gender.

This is against the logic that there's only femininity and masculinity and nothing outside them, so that people who reject femininity must by necessity be masculine instead.

What's outside of masculinity and femininity?

What are the people outside of that?
