QT: Do you understand why women need single sex spaces?

Is your stance really “we can’t prevent everything, so let’s not have anything in place to prevent some things” ????

We can’t prevent someone from robbing a bank, so let’s just remove all security measures?

We can’t prevent Murder, so let’s just make it legal?

We can’t prevent some people contracting std’s, so let’s just stop selling condoms?

We can’t prevent food poisoning, so let’s stop sending health inspectors to restaurants?

We can’t prevent everyone from getting sick, so let’s just stop producing medicine?

Im just wondering how far are you willing to take this, or if you understand that preventative measures are necessary in other aspects, but you just don’t give a damn about females.

We can’t prevent anything (except transphobia lmao) She cannot be serious. You’d have to really either not believe the sexual violence stats or hate women to be able to dismiss a ~few rapes here and there~

I almost said, « you can’t change sex, so just stop transitioning? « 

But I figured if I did that would be the only part GB addressed. If she even addresses my comments

If history serves, you’re pretty safe from much response now that ‘I am comfortable’ has been exhausted. She’s never gone much deeper than that. I wish she’d comment more if only so there’s more clues as to whether her stance comes from privileged ignorance or actual hatred of other women. The whole ‘prevention doesn’t prevent things’ stance has me thinking privileged ignorance. Truly fascinated tbh haha.
