We don't need to believe there's anything more going on than women wanting to look sexy

I am a woman, and I am the one who's saying there's more to it than that.

Indeed, but then women and men are not the same.

Of course we're not, but the point of radical feminism is to see what would happen if we tried to "even the field". One of the ways we would do this is by ceasing to reinforce traditional gender roles. I think that this would show how much of the differences are actually nature or nurture.

Maybe other women don't tolerate them, is that what you mean? But other men certainly don't care. Plus, men who are "sexually unusual" have many outlets for their fetishes, there are all kinds of fetish communities, and porn genres they can view, among other things.

You strike me as somebody who uses TheRedPill, is that true? I'm just curious.

I have no reason to believe you're consciously lying, and no reason to believe that you truly know why you did something as basic to what it means to be human as make yourself attractive.

Oh, maybe I was being vague when I said that. I know there are a lot of women who are like "I always do makeup for MYSELF, I'm not trying to look hot at all!" Yeah, of course they're lying to themselves lol. But I was just trying to point out that there's a lot of social pressure to decorate yourself, for women.

A society could exist where everyone had short hair, no makeup, and wore grey tracksuits, and maybe women all had to wear binders to conceal their breasts, too.

Well, that brings up the question of how much femininity/masculinity is inherently tied to sexual dimorphism, which is also tricky to figure out. I don't think radical feminists would support everyone being completely "genderless", it's just that things would be less stereotypical.

They're also going to be seen as creepy by wider society. Women can be much more open about kinks and women can be more sexually forward without being called creepy.

Well, let's say you have a man with multiple fetishes, and a female dominatrix. Both of these people are going to be seen as weird perverts by the average person, even though they have their own communities. So I guess their situation is "equal". But if we're talking about the average man and woman, you definitely could not argue men are somehow more sexually repressed. I think that, because of narratives about male and female sexuality, women who have certain interests are more likely to be seen as weird. Some people still can't even comprehend that women have desires of their own.
