Interesting - perhaps Russian redheads that far inland were partly expelled Jews from various European states in the late medieval and early modern period, whereas I had thought redheads were mainly Celto-Germanic. Thant said, Celto-Germanic groups extended into Eastern European / Slavic areas.

The quality of these movies and shows is so poor you have to wonder if there isn't some ulterior motive. Almost as if they know making new content that caters to POC will result in people just rewatching old content, so they are replacing the old content to make it impossible to find the good quality movies and shows from the past. Now when someone tries to find one of these old shows all they will find is the race swapped garbage, but it won't be obvious that the internet has been scrubbed of the old movies.

This is exactly it. This is one of their methods.

One of the ways the jews tried to destroy christianity in the beginning was by simply writing LOTS of fan fiction about Jesus. This way people didn't read the actual "good movies" (bible). If you only have 1 book about Jesus, you will read that one. If you have 100000s and they are promoted more than the 1 actual true book they don't want you to read, are you going to read that book? What's the probability that it will happen that you pick the right one?
That's part of the reason for the centralization, the catholic church, of christendom. To remove "filler" content and make an "approved" list of writings about Jesus.

Note that this can also be abused to take over an area, subject, topic that you want to censor or misdirect.
"Topic you want to censor" -> Inflate that topic with trash, drama, etc -> provide an "authority" that filters the topic, and now you can censor the parts of the topic that you DON'T want people to talk about, once you have made everyone travel to your centralized platform.

Nope. Christianity is doing great in Catholic circles. Batgirl is my fave because it was so bad they scrapped the whole movie.

Also they shot the whole film in Glasgow and the character has a Scottish name so it was a real missed opportunity to have a local actress like Karen Gillan in the role. That would have ticked a few boxes on the tax credit.

To be fair, partly it is a way to qualify for government tax breaks and studio funding.

These orgs generally have a tick box way of qualifying where "having a cast and crew representative of this country" is one more thing which can push you over the line.

For example using Batgirl, the UK tax credit requires you to have a story about the UK, a story based in the UK, lead actors from the UK or a cast representative of the diversity of the UK. That film was about a fictional city, set in the USA, the lead was American, so diversity was pretty much the only box they could tick in that section. So did they cast a non white actress for the woke or for the money?

I've also worked for studios who have this kind of thing in their terms to release funding. I worked on a TV show in an desolate area of the country which very much had it's own culture and plenty of underused local talent and poor kids who could do with a break but the production had to ship cast and crew in from London (where they have plenty of opportunities already) to fit the studio's demand that the production match the racial demographic of the UK exactly to the percentage. Of course, in reality people aren't spread evenly all across the country.
