However Robert Maxwell did own Macmillan/McGraw-Hill which is one of the largest textbook manufactures in the US.

And Swartz left the project just a couple months after it was bought by Conde Nast.

edit: After further research, Conde Nast is owned by the Vanderbilts, and not the Maxwells. So this post is false. But the Maxwells do own the textbook manufacturer Macmillan/McGraw-Hill, which is possibly where the maxwellhill name comes from
