When I stop seeing grown men walk out from a stall without washing their hands, then I may entertain the idea of keeping shoes clean. Maybe the door lock should be de-activated by 30 seconds of running water from the sink faucet.

Now that’s an idea. With AI we can process video without storing it or having a human look at it. With a camera we can see that they did the job.

I don't think most people would use them, also there's germs everywhere not just in restrooms.

I like the idea but I'm not sure how much cleaner it would make things, every time a toliet is flushed it's aerosolizing the particles and this is gross ... but I'm not sure most people realize how common accidentally getting sprayed with droplets of your own piss reflected weirdly from a urinal is. I wear flip flops all the time, it's very gross when it happens.
