its a wonderful world out there and you can find scientifically backed info on everything from etiquette to physical fitness. why are you not doing more to make yourself a better person?

Because I'm happy with how I am, and no matter how "better" or "worse" you are (according, I guess, to your own ideas of better and worse), you still die and rot and everyone forgets you almost immediately.

I do, every day. In addition to now going to the gym daily for 90 minutes a night (after a long work day,) I also am trying to learn another language and figure out how to do lucid dreaming. I think most modern people don't work on self-improvement though cause they're lazy, contribute literally nothing beneficial to society, and think they're 'owed something' just for existing, and being mediocre/objectively useless to the world. I despise "averageness," aka worthlessness among people, but they are the majority for a reason.
