Wow. 60 years is what I would expect for someone convicted of sex trafficking and rape. Not merely taking clandestine pictures. The later is still an invasion of privacy, which is a form of violence, but it does not even remotely approach the severity of kidnapping, forced prostitution, and bodily harm that some children face.

Honestly, putting him on the sex registry for life and making him a social pariah seems like a fair punishment. If he is determined to still be a danger to others, then prison time would also be in order. But let us not pretend that what he did rises to the level of rape or kidnapping.
