There being no (female) vegan jewish redditor in my room is a negative fact, and therefore I would need to know every fact in the universe to know it, and know there were no more facts. Should I keep looking?

I don't think that's right. Your room is a finite area, and a female, vegan, Jewish redditor takes up a minimum amount of space. I think you can eliminate the need to know how many stars there are in the universe and if or not cows giggle when they fart as a requirement for figuring out if a thin, left leaning Jewish girl is under your bed.

I can't know that I have the right idea about my room or about what a vegan jewish redditor girl is without knowing every fact. I can't know if I have already found one and lost track, either.

Sure you can. How does knowing how long it takes a horse to digest a baby chick assist you in knowing where your room is, how big it is and if or not a female, vegan, Jewish redditor is in there?
