Aren't girls trips and boys trips things normal adults do?

after you have children, you take family trips...

after you have children, your purpose is to be a parent.

So a business man with children isn't allowed to go on business trips unless he takes the wife and kids? 😂

your purpose is to be a parent.

And this is why parents suffer from "empty nest" syndrome when their kids grow up and leave home.

Being a parent does not mean that you are only a parent. There's nothing wrong with taking a couple of days off to relax and recharge. It's good for the parent, and good for the kids too.

I have only my marriage as an example, and me and the kids loved it the few times my ex went on vacation without us. Everyone breathed a little easier for a few days.
