The thing is, it's hard to tell a third-generation Hispanic person from a "white" person. They don't really look particularly different. They just look like Americans with a tan.

In fact, it's pretty likely we'll just start calling them "white," the same way we eventually did with the Italians, Greeks, Hungarians, Slavs, etc.
