Why don't the citizens riot?

the best way to get concessions from the elite in a democracy is to riot but people just rot away and hope for change. blacks learned this and are now worshipped in america and the world but for some reason the rest of us just shitpost and cope.

People have somehow forgotten that you have to ask for specific things. You have to make specific demands and refuse to back down until they're met.

Nowadays protests are more like "BREAK THE CVS WINDOWS! #sosomad" And people are like "What do you want?" and they're like "MOTHERFUCKING UTOPIA." And people are like "Ummm do you have a leader we can talk to?" and they're like "THE HASHTAG ITSELF IS OUR LEADER."

Yeah, we kinda, you know, had a massive war over slavery already and we concluded it was bad. A few riots aren't gonna change our stance on that.
