The real question is why you think "looking like a construction worker" is a bad thing. You think women don't like men who look rugged, strong, and used to stay outside?

    Probably because construction workers are considered low class, which ugly people are more likely are if they don't have inheritance.

    I think they like the idea of it right until it hits the reality of it. Try taking a girl on holiday to the Mongolian steppe and watch her disappointment with how bad you smell after a week of no showers and shitting in holes you dug yourself.

    Well normally people take a shower after work. You confuse "being repulsed by poor hygiene" with "not liking people who do manual labor".
