It's bothering me a little, in that every time I comment I have to copy my comment, hit refresh, and paste my comment back in.

But as annoyances in my life go, it's about nine hundredth on my list.

It seems so pointless and random. A browser extension to do this could be implemented from a user point of view in which perhaps there is a "wobble the mouse to show you are human"-part, but the current logic seems ridiculous. Why would someone who has been "validated" thirty seconds ago not be valid anymore in the same browser session?

Fun fact: this commenter is one of the 6 day old accounts. /u/rapemymouth and the bastard keeps upvoting himself

I've been here 19 days, not 6. And I don't use alts. Huge waste of time.

Wrong. Your existance is a huge waste of time.

*existence

The old people here know me, dope. I change my account along with like three other people. It’s similar in cadence to my old account.

Yep exact same. I'm far more annoyed by thing irl that i have to interact with. Saidit's cloudflare shizz is only mildly irritating, real life gets me fuming.

I hadn't noticed accounts being that new though, might pay closer attention.

Physical avatars are the worst, aren't they?

I mean, I've got more free speech than my place in Anytown, USA.

If you think about it, anytime you show an ID, of anykind, you're getting mixed up in govt or Corp identity sharing. Want to buy lotto? ID'd! Want that club discount? ID'd! Want to borrow this book? ID'd! Want to fish or hunt your own food? ID'd! Want to wear a pistil under your jacket? ID'd! Can't even walk the damn street without a 4k camera scanning my retina or AI'ing my gait.

Least here I just have to say I'm not a bot.

But are you? Are you really not a bot? As a long time user what is your opinion with regards to refugees?

Reddit refugees.

This is the closest alternative to reddit I could find. Lots of spam, almost no bots but kind of devoid of content.

I guess maybe I am a bot, but probably not. Also I consider myself one of these refugees. Reddit is a danming place and I had a hard time seeing that from the inside. But the lack of content here has highlighted to me my relationship with the internet. I now deliberately come here only to appease a certain set of topics - lack of content doesn't keep me here long at a single time. But I'm also reading more books and abosrbong more long form content... So I'm not terribly mad about the lack of content, but it wouldn't hurt for sure!

Maybe we don't need a reddit alternative? Maybe there are even better ways to structure a "free idea forum" idk the answer to these, just thinking out loud in the space.('cause I aint no dadgum robit).
