One of the biggest problems in modern Western society is when we started taking the mentally ill seriously and capitulating to them, instead of treating their illness or acknowledging their insanity. Agree or disagree?

How do you measure mentally ill? There are books for that, pretty straight forward. Maybe try to read them before throwing your feelings out in a wall-o-text.

How do you define 'Mentally ill'?

OK - you don't understand what a question is. I'll help you...

Now this symbol '?' means the words before it form what we call 'a question'. It's a sort of enquiry. The idea is that the person who wrote the words before the '?' is asking the question, and the question is going to be answered by someone other than the person asking the question. Do you do get that? It's a difficult concept I know, but I am sure if you try, you will understand it. There are two people, see? One asks the question and the other one tries to answer it.

Now, in the question, I used the word 'you'. That means you, not me. To answer the question successfully you need to address whether you understand the issue asked about. What I understand is outside the range of the question. The question is whether YOU understand it. That's why I made my comment a question addressed to YOU. See?

Now the subject of the question. This is important. The subject is 'Mental illness'. I won't go any further than that because I don't want to answer the question for you.

So, let's put that all together. I am asking YOU what YOU think Mental Illness is. See?

He meant you, not me. I answered your question encompassing ANYONE you want because defining mental illness is not how you "feel" about it today or someone with different opinions than you suddenly fit the bill. You also seem QUITE confused about being told the answer to your question, then a recommendation that you should, as well, follow it because you seem QUITE confused on the subject as a whole.

I know it is hard to actually do research before opening your mouth and vomiting stupid, but please at least try.
