Haskell programmers "basically" don't hate anyone.
"Logic" structured minds don't hate but they can get annoyed.
But haskell itself ( hehe:-P ) as well as haskell-programmers like math.
So maybe they reject mostly people who either don't use vim or emacs or on the other hand ask the same question for the same reason: They are too LAZY (90 % !) to read up on it.
Just for a simple fact check let me ask you this one question:
What are example applications of the following function: x -> x -> x ?
Just name three and maybe you get my point here.
