The reason for 3 stars and my not using the system anymore is some of my clothes started to fade. Not many...just a select few. Bed sheets, towels, and maybe 2 or 3 shirts out of a 100 that had all gone through the system for 6 months. They didn't fade all at once but very gradually look like a very diluted bleach was used.
Depending on the dye used, I can see it being oxidized along with the dirt. The review by the commercial O3 laundry unit seller (to hotels and etc) is pretty credible. Also, the guy mentioning you might need a little soap for oil or grease stains has a good point.
All in all, it sounds like a viable way to mostly stop using laundry detergent, and have chemical free and cleaner clothing.
