Dogs. People keep cats and I like them too (that's a recent development. thank you backyard cat). Dogs are cool, bro tier animals who will do a lot of shit with you like a very good friend - running, hiking, hunting if you do that, just hangin out.

What i find weird is people who keep reptiles and amphibians as pets - not sure how sentient they (the pets) are or if they even know wtf is going on.
