Read that book...

It is true to conclude practicing Jesuits and the Vatican had a strong hand in Hollywood in the early 20th century but this isn't the case presently. Going to Jesuit funded schools like Providence College or Georgetown does not mean you work to further the Jesuit goal of power, if it did that would mean everyone who went to these universities would secretly be conspiring with the Jesuits, which is often what the argument for the "Jesuits control Hollywood in present day", conclude. That simply getting an education at one of these schools makes you a Jesuit.

I will say there are many Catholics that help to fund pro-CIA films, whilst there are also hundreds of Marxist Jews who push the communist agenda as well. The book I linked is written by a Christian, who is subtle in his reasoning and walks the reader through the history of Jesuits, Catholics and Jews in Hollywood and their many struggles to dominate the industry.

It's a very good book. Read the conclusion if you don't have time. But the book is well written and lays it all out. It's very complex.
