Even In n Out the hamburger store moved out, and they have NEVER left a location bc they are one of the best run, profitable burger chains. To the point where their business model is studied in most MBA programs. They even send an old team out to new locations to train the new team. They were breaking into in n. Out, robbing, stealing, assaults, in n out needed to get the he'll out. BUT many activitss blamed late stage capitalism. LMAO. Groccery stores have left this city, citing out of control shoplifting. Activists blamed racism. No joke. How bad is crime there? Even robbers steal pickup trucks so they can ram them into the stores with roll down metal chains. Even before covid, I rmeeber back in the 1990's, asians were getting beat up on the street for NO reason and the deaths covered up. I've lived there before so I know how bad it once was. Now, it's even WORSE. Living there motivated me to think outside the box and work my butt off so I'd never end up bludgeoned to death on the side of an Oakland street in the parking lot of their pet club or K-mart. Sheng thao NEEDS to represent this city. This city is already hopeless. The culture is rotten and not repairable. It doesn't matter who runs it, there's no saving it. The least we can do as asians is have some asian representation. And why should we let shen thao leave so we can prove that a non asian will also be unable to save the city???? You DONT GET what u want in America by trying to PROVE anything to anybody. U get what u want from the bottom up by clamoring and fighting for ur rights, and representation. Let's keep Sheng thao up there.
