Why do we even have an embassy in Somalia, let alone troops? What do we hope to accomplish. My only concern is that Ilhan Omar thinks it's a good idea, so there must be something wrong. Then again, her love of the country she had to flee as a child, might just be clouding her perspective, thinking that Somalis are just killing it like her (/s) and don't need any help. Regardless, get them out of Somalia. There is no benefit to anyone having US troops there. After the Black Hawk Down incident in the 90's, I could care less if Somalia sunk into the sea.
