Of course the government and the actual people, are quite different but for what it's worth I have known Iranians since I was in college (My college had a lot back in the day.) and even now, and they are intelligent, reasonable people. They are not Arabs btw. This news is good to hear. I expect Israelis put pressure on the US to blackball Iran. Israelis tend to be racist of course.
