One of the harshest truths about life is that evil always wins

don't try to fight against power because you will always fail. it's better to bide your time and see new evil replace the old in all its brutality as it always does.

If this were true, evil would have destroyed everything long ago. There is a higher power that says: This far and no more shall you go. If that line is crossed, the evil side is punished.

Evil serves a good purpose: It shakes those that are sleeping so they wake up and realize they would do better to depart from the darkness and enter into the light.

True, but humanity is inherently "evil" (selfish), so by that context, humanity always wins.
