I have noticed some usernames comment on regular posts before starting their own spam posts. I have also noticed they will comment on each other's posts. It may be one person or a group.

One spammer recently tried to convince me that he was not a spammer. A few weeks ago while I was out of town and away from the site for days at a time, a spammer tried to summon me by using my username in the comments of one of his posts. I guess he was wondering if I was watching since it took me a week to catch it. At first, I thought maybe it was a regular user's alt seeing if anyone was catching spam.

Thank you to all who report the spam. It makes it easier to clear.

It's really dark web criminals that now communicate by posting encoded messages that look like bone conducting headphone messages.

I block 5 to 15 new bot accounts every day. It's not like we have a mod team cleaning the site up daily.

They're probably using VPNs so I doubt it would help.
