I am beginning to suspect that there is something fundamentally wrong with the manner in which Cloudflare requests proof of being human. It seems to be sometimes every 5-10 seconds that it requires reconfirmation when clicking from one post to another, or submitting and editing a post. Is there a legitimate reason why this is a necessary factor if the user is not a threat to the website?

    People are literally killed for speaking the truth.... Stopping people from communicating would be easier and less messy.

    Perhaps you could answer this: Since we have an IP address assigned to us, we can be identified by that, at least for the current time. If we passed the Cloudflare blockade once, showing we are human, why doesn't Cloudflare whitelist our IP address for the rest of the day?

      So this could just be to temporarily be a pain in the ass to spam bots as it delays the need for implementation of better spam control on the site, or gives time for the addition of more mods who could manually remove it. Hmm. I reckon it will eventually just deter normal users from engaging.
