Btw I created an account via Tor without email to reply there, and it wasn't shadowbanned on sight! Imagine that!

UPD Sorry, I forgot (drinking beer here) - not "without email", but via one-time email from guerrillamail.com, grr.la domain worked.

Mark Nadal is a creator of Gun DB, which go1dfish used to create notabug.io - weegs thinks go1dfish stole his donation, and that's how this all related in his mind :) See also my other comment where I speculate that Nadal's comment on reddit triggered weegs to post this.

Was this triggered by Nadal's comment with proposal to meet?

u/magnora7 & u/cat-and-or-dog-food will both of you reach out to me? Preferably twitter @marknadal DM or TG of same (Signal does weird creepy things to my phone, I don't trust it anymore) or email mark []AT[] gun []dot[] eco. If you want, you can send me whatever end-to-end encrypted system you want there (I have a few). I'm not on reddit much. I live in SF (I'm very public about myself, not anonymous, but I keep others anonymity high) maybe meet in person, I travel a lot.

They are much bigger than these alternatives, patriots.win alone is 6.4M visits. But

1) they use a lot of domains and SimilarWeb is domain-based, so I would have to manually add them like voat.xyz+talk.lol

2) this is a personal list of old reddit-like alternatives, which I theoretically could join, and I wouldn't like to be governed by Trump cultists, so I didn't include them when started this

It's easy to manually look them up like this if you are curious:

https://www.similarweb.com/website/patriots.win/#traffic

https://www.similarweb.com/website/communities.win/#traffic

Do they actually use scored.co btw?

I meant SimilarWeb doesn't show Global Rank for wolfballs.com anymore:

Global Rank - -

https://www.similarweb.com/website/wolfballs.com/#overview

It did show it previously:

Oct Global Rank #5,684,646

Nov Global Rank #7,865,654

I think I didn't see shit like this before, even smallest websites have rank (it's like Alexa rank) - looks like they removed your website for some reason.

Saidit has like 10

Like 10 what? You didn't finish that sentence. If you meant "like 10 users", visits are basically user sessions:

Similarweb calculates a visit (session) for a website when a visitor accesses one or more pages. Subsequent pageviews are included in the same visit until the user is inactive for more than 30 minutes. If a user becomes active again after 30 minutes, that counts as a new visit. A new session will also start at midnight.

https://support.similarweb.com/hc/en-us/articles/212999769-Total-Visits

So if a user visits saidit each day in the morning and in the evening (for less than 30 minutes), that alone user would bring ~ 60 visits/month.

Also quoting from my old comment:

These are estimations from their limited data anyway (browser extensions which sell browsing history, DNS data from internet providers and so on), could be wrong 2x-3x in both directions (underestimated/overestimated)

Looks like this is an alpha version for now - I see no way to upvote/downvote, no user profile/settings, no /r/all/new equivalent etc.

Apparently the same (or pretty similar) website was called 20-things.com before, it was listed in /r/RedditAlternatives/ list.

It's probably hard to compare directly, Similarweb's "visits" are not "views", it's user sessions defined in some specific way:

Similarweb calculates a visit (session) for a website when a visitor accesses one or more pages. Subsequent page views are included in the same visit until the user is inactive for more than 30 minutes. If a user becomes active again after 30 minutes, that counts as a new visit. These are estimations from their limited data anyway (browser extensions which sell browsing history, DNS data from internet providers and so on), could be wrong 2x-3x in both directions (underestimated/overestimated). Just it's fun to compare these stats over months :)
