it has always been their “core tenet” to believe survivors.

So if you wanted to break up a group like this, all you have to do is make a claim, even if it's unfounded, because as far as they're concerned, any claim makes you a "survivor" by default, no other evidence needed.

If some gay men have a negative reaction towards vaginas, one of the causes is their families forcing them to like women and straight sex. But apparently homophobia is dead so that didn't happen and we should just open our minds and stop being so picky.

I couldn't tell you why exactly (though I could make guesses), but I am one of the gay men who just finds vagina inherently revolting, like seeing one is a sure-fire way to turn me off and make me want to look away. I don't hate people who have vaginas, I just don't want one in my sex life. I have no problem with people that do.

It's irritating how people will easily dismiss my desires (or lack thereof) as though it's just "childish" and something I "need to get over", as if my sex life is up for debate.

If leftist truly believed that trans women are women then they shouldn't have a problem with dating them. by jacques1102 in TumblrInAction

Was going to say the same thing. Maybe this is the old "women are more socially pliable" thing at work, but gay men, being men, are less likely to cave to social pressure, especially when it comes to who they fuck. Also, it's probably much harder to maintain an erection for penetration if you're not attracted to whoever you're with, whereas with women there's at least the possibility that they can take it even if they aren't turned on because being penetrated doesn't require as much sexual stimulation to achieve (not suggesting it's fun or easy though).

That isn't to say that gay guys who have sex with (pre-op/haven't had bottom surgery) FtM don't exist; I know some, though I'm not sure how far they actually go with them.

From a Disney cartoon (shocking, I know…), The Owl House… This really showcases the consequences of Steven Universe. Cartoons like these aren’t actually made for kids. They’re made for man-children who constantly demand for “validation”. by kingc-way245 in TumblrInAction

There was a lot of reasonable discussion about this topic back on the old TIA subreddit, and I don't know how the saidit version feels in comparison, so I may be sticking my neck on the block here, but I agree with those who who argued that non-offending paedophiles should be given whatever help they need so they won't offend.

The more children not abused the better (ideally 0).

Everyone wants to boil it down to "face the wall", but that doesn't really solve the problem of non-offenders since they haven't actually committed a crime yet.

I don't see how it's "strawmanning" to point out the rights position on sexual matters, unless you have evidence that I'm incorrect in my statement?

I'd really like to see you counter my claims, if they are apparently so incorrect, otherwise it seems like you're simply attacking me with baseless rhetoric.

Usually, the right is pro freedom, against rules and regulations, and abortion feels like a freedom that they advocate removed by rules and regulation.

The right also tends to be largely religious, typically Christian, and they treat sex as only being permittable if one aims to have children, or are willing to accept that is the possible result. Abortion, to them, is an attempt to avoid the consequences of sex. Some don't even support the use of contraceptives like condoms.
