As to the horse meat allegation, I can find no credible source for this. There are stories about Wendy's admitting to using horse meat, but these are debunked by Snopes. Can you direct me to a credible source?

I fail to see the relevance of your comment in the context of the article. And, North America was not uninhabited in 1491 it was home to Indigenous people who had occupied the land for thousands of years.
