On another note, the news site is the Chinese scmp.com. Strangely, it was running a banner ad for the Australian St George bank. WTF? I reloaded the page and there was an ad for Australian company Officeworks and BT (Banker's Trust). Why does a Chinese state-owned news site run advertising? Is it to gain influence with google by spending money with them?

I find it more likely that China will slowly despatch the excess bachelors to the Belt and Road countries. There they will find African wives.
