I think it'd be best to admit that yeah they control most things but it's cuz they're smart, work hard, and stay together in their community. People are jealous of that and attack them for it.

what do you mean, what is the right word then? "owned"? People tend to control the things they own.

That would explain why they are determined for us to "own nothing and be happy"

it seems you just want to argue over words and how to use them, a normal thing to do when one knows they lost an argument
