To be a queer is to make every smallest thing about nobody but you.

MiniTrue! Ministry of Truth Redefines words, censors articles, and books, and rewrites them in the party's favor.

The unnecessary depluralisation of select areas of the English language to satisfy an unwanted few idiots. Ugh.

Welcome to this century, where you have no choice but to ask "how many they are we talking about?"

The same thing happened with "thee", "thou", "ye" and "you" in the 17th century.

It's been chaos in the streets and mass hysteria ever since.

At least try to think of a slightly relevant comparison.

They need special everything for them. Their tooth brush brand doesn't support their delusions, "They need to find a new toothbrush..."

That's exactly why I'm against the use of "they/them" as personal pronouns. It makes no sense to call one person a "they" or a "them." I'm gay myself but when I was growing up, people were either he, she, or things were his or hers. It was so easy and it worked perfectly. And I realize that just because "we did it that way" isn't a good reason to keep doing something, this illustrates all too well why using "they/them" for one person makes no sense. I'm OK with people being whatever gender they choose, male, female, trans, etc. But the I still believe you're either a he or a she, not a group of things with no sexual identity.

We should refer to troons as “it.”
