Well that's a problem, because any erection that is painful can cause damage to the tissue and lead to erectile dysfunction. Any erection lasting longer than 3 to 4 hours means the blood is trapped and deprived of oxygen and it usually requires surgical intervention. So from that alone I'm sure that no drug company is pushing some kind of spider venom as a solution to ED. Also, I'm unaware of any spider venom that can cause prolonged or painful erections. And no man would want it even if it did.
