I used to do "Local Sort" which is part time in the evenings, unloading the delivery trucks that would come in. I had amazing benefits, which was good. I wanted to be a driver for the $$$ but the seniority list was nearly a decade to become a full time driver. So, I got another part time job and stayed with UPS for 3 years, and what made me quit was seeing guys who were like me, but had much more seniority and when most of them became drivers, they would come in late at night, sometimes crying, saying "I can't fucking do this". These are guys with no college degree, families, bills, and they would quit because that job is a fucking nightmare. Its not delivering pizzas.
