I'm an Aussie. We prolly have gun ranges here some place, but I've never really looked into it. I've hunted farm pests like foxes, rabbits and crows with guns before, but never been to a place where the intent is to learn to shoot or shoot for fun.

I was just checking my logic, in essence. I could sit here and laugh at how insane the rules sounded, but I'd be doing so really ignorantly because, for all I knew, those were all normal safety rules and it was the rule about needing a member to be with you that people thought were draconian and everyone would balk at me thinking 1 shot every 30 seconds seemed a little heavy handed.

I should not have reposted that thing since even level-headed people like you (and me?) are confused by it and more confusion in this world is not needed. I hope you're enjoying saidit. It is small — not a huge bloody mess like reddit — but it is just the right size for me.

Don't be daft, mate. It's fine! I won't get every joke, and that's perfectly normal. :)
Saidit is great. It's nice to see people post things and talk about them without dancing on egg shells. Very peaceful and fun. Even the arguing is good natured.
