Instead, they pulled a Digg. They revamped the UI to a super heavy mess, bloated ti with other features, and turned the content into mostly curated corporate crap, more-so than user posted content

Fair point, but those are not not what I see the reddit mods complaining about. Post after post regarding subs going dark is about not having the tools to efficiently ban users.
