Well it says "not providing a reliable source".

The person who reverted it was pretty open about it:

Hello, I'm JML1148. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Jeff Shell, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. JML1148 (Talk | Contribs) 09:18, 27 April 2023 (UTC)

My guess, given that the article implies that he is jewish in "Personal Life" section, my guess would be that Wikipedia editors are protecting articles from unreliable claims rather than hiding Jews.

But one persons paranoid delusions are another's conspiracy of unorganised volunteers, so you be you.
