Here's a solution: Stop playing mind games with your spouse. If you want something, be honest. I have zero sympathy for a woman who's marriage has failed because she never bothered to tell her husband how she really felt or always used sarcasm or "mind-reading" to communicate with him. Men obviously cannot read minds. Sarcasm is tricky because some people say what they mean and then turn around to pretend they were just being sarcastic. Stop asking men to pick up on your sarcasm and just stop being sarcastic.
