This sounds horrible. I love kids. And I’d love to take my kids and have time with them. Phrasing this as a chore makes me irate. I hate when someone pretends they are pulling one one me, when I am just doing what I want.

I couldn’t handle this kind of shit. I’d be a ghost.

For example, I read books to my kid every night, when they get older, it turns into more advanced books. It was a special time with my family that I cherish. That’s not a chore, it’s a gift.

I would go nuts if my significant other treated it as like time off from a job. Like why the fuck did you have kids, you disgusting whore. And then ask treated me like I’m some kind of work horse, to be used to save her from her clearly overwhelming task of hanging out with children.

Here's a solution: Stop playing mind games with your spouse. If you want something, be honest. I have zero sympathy for a woman who's marriage has failed because she never bothered to tell her husband how she really felt or always used sarcasm or "mind-reading" to communicate with him.
