There are 3 groups that are very concerned with keeping it legal: Jews, Muslims, and Americans. 2 of those are basically untouchable in terms of criticism in today's world and the 3rd is a bully that pushes its beliefs and values on everyone else.

Even the CDC says benefits outweigh downsides. It's allowed because it's mostly harmless and the people who make the laws have a cultural tradition handed down from GOD that says to do it.

Yeah it's one of those things I can't really find myself to care about. It's basically harmless even though it's weird as fuck. I'd be totally against it as I suspect most everyone would be if it wasn't somehow this normalized thousands of year old tradition. But as it stands, we can deal with this issue when we run out of other more pressing issues, like the economy.

I'm not sure how thinking that slicing through a newborn's most sensitive part is cruel makes me an incel. And yes, that is a traumatic experience that scars the person for life.

I think you just don't care because they're boys. They can't bear children for your tribe, so their wellbeing means nothing to you. Only keep them around for labor, war, defense, and fucking. If anything like this happened to a girl you'd probably be disgusted by the atrocity. But since it's a boy it's no big deal. And it's "beneficial" because that foreskin can be used for profit. It's all part of the "you owe society for existing" deal. Just like how being able to vote means you're obligated to serve in the military...if you're male that is, females get it for free!
