They didn't possess the level of power of the current crew, who have controlled the global reserve currency for decades. Power corrupts in proportion to the amount of power possessed. The level of corruption of the Davos elite relative to that of the Soviet elite is a measure of the extra power wielded by the current crew. They are as spiritually corrupt as any group of humans has ever been in human history. The last time a group became this corrupted - based on my view of history - looks like the end of the Roman empire, where there was also seriously crazy sexual crap going down.
