They just need to grow a pair and kill woke first.

I've just applied for an industry training course and I had to fill in a diversity form longer than the actual course application form where they asked me to detail my entire career. For the first time ever I put "prefer not to say" for most options. Previous I've always thought it was good for them to have correct stats on such things but not anymore. Partly its because I'm just tired of the whole thing but mostly it's because they have lost my trust in how they'll interpret and use those stats.

I'm not so worried about being rejected because of my race (I'm too far ahead in my career for them to do that but it is a big problem for kids white working class coming into the industry). It's more that I'm seeing bullshit like "figures show LGBT are underrepresented in film production" headlines, which clearly are impossible to be true of you know the industry, or just have eyes. Those fake stats are obtained by the way people chose to fill in, or not fill in, those diversity forms.

mistaken to think you're safe due to being far in career, and they might not want to give you deserved promotions due to it

if you're really a woman you'll probably be fine, life on easy mode, they might eventually come for you if you're a white woman tho.
