Uni is hard because you are isolated and all the breeder burden is on you. You don't get support like you do when working in a team.

If you think you're smart it's easy to think you should do everything on your own to prove how great you are but that's not good for either mental health or your career long term.

You need to access the support you do have. Go talk to someone, work somewhere public like the library rather than in your room, etc.

The fact is uni is a short term thing. The world of work is not anything like that.

I also have naturally low happiness. But that just means I constantly think about putting myself in the way of what makes me happy (which is not always an immediate feeling). Certainly walking in green spaces once a day does great things over time.

And no meaning doesn't always lead to happiness, it's a different feeling. One is joy in the moment the other makes you want to keep going.

Uni isn't the problem at all. It's my head. I could walk into heaven right now and still feel just barely good. It isn't that much work to survive, but it's awful when you're so burnt out and know that you're probably only earning another bad day.
