What's the point of living if you have no chance of a happy life?

You’re the only one who can make that “unbelievable” turn. It’s easier than you think and you’re more in control than you give yourself credit.

If that were true, the world would be a whole lot different. I can't control anything about my reality thanks to the matrix, which clearly hates me for some reason.

Because it doesn't work. I'm not dealing with the usual. Most of it is my brain literally being wired for misery.

What do you expect/want us to say?

It's hopeless. I'm desperately looking for a way out, even when I know there isn't one.

    Why not live in denial and “fake it til you make it?”

    That's how most people cope. But the blue pills don't work on me.

    But how would you know what happiness feels like if you’ve never felt pain?

    Doesn't mean pain needs to consume me.

    If you’d deny yourself happiness

    I don't, it's withheld from me.

    Again, the blue pills don't work on me. Well actually they work really well, because the matrix completely controls me, but you know what I mean, I can't deny reality like some people.
