The moon is 1/400th the size of the sun but also 1/400th the distance from Earth which results in the moon and the sun being the same size in the sky, a coincidence not shared by any other known planet-moon combination.

Maybe. Most planets have them, so that's weird.

I bet that the planets that do have them, don't appreciate them. Ceaselessly hovering around. Following them everywhere they go. They're already thinking the moons aught to quit following them around, and give them some space (as if there isn't enough space to go around).

They're wrong though. Unbeknownst to them, the moons provide them with an active lifestyle. Just look at Mars. He's now waiting to get the divorce paperwork finalized, and he's practically a dead planet.

Jupiter is the notable exception. That attention hogging jerk will take anything he can get, and more. Don't let your moon hang around that guy. Friggin guy once even ate his kids, it so I'm told!!!

For Christ's sake Jupiter! You bigamist bastard!
