Specifically on the veganism issue, I was absolutely appalled to see a majority of the website clam up into chud tier “dae bacon mmmm” when a vegan actually decided to speak up for once. Animal liberation is intertwined with leftism, but yet again, the moment someone points out something you can improve upon, you immediately attack it instead of trying to improve yourself.

    The post is still up despite the fact I reported it minutes after it happened. So yeah this kind of thing is effective. It acts as a frightening ghoul to scare away new users and demoralize existing users. It's not just a spambot.

    These people are paid social media influencers, coordinating behind the scenes on chat servers and being led by people with training in psychology. It's just going to get worse as they gain experience and find out what works best. This is a crude, early attempt. Wait until they get good.

    Yeah. I guess I'd be more upset if they weren't selling a seemingly libertarian conspiratorial world view. I see it as pissed American not anti-american (bobb's concern). But yes the AI future is going to be rough on anonymous social platforms like this.

    I was admin for a long time but now I'm just a tech advisor guy. I think it's gotta be a total nutter and not an intel agency, but who knows. they don't post a whole lot.

    It did happen shortly after this site went live, so they are taking advantage of our reddit compatibility.
