Someone stole my dad's grill a couple months ago. We've had it for ages and it doesn't exactly look super nice or anything. And turns out you can't buy a decent one in northern MN right now unless you spend a stupid amount of money because it's winter. Some people just have no common decency. I'd be worried about putting too much effort into a garden in the area I live in, though I do see people do it.

Hey Melody!

I totally feel ya. This has been making me think about my own grill that was stolen. I was just letting the coals cool and by the time I came out again it was gone. Different place than now, not as good economically but not bad, solid working class people but lots of immigrants too. Only place I ever had problems with the cops, they acted like they were policing the ghetto -- and I mean we're talking about neighborhoods with 200k homes, not Fifth Ward.

I guess, maybe I'd hope whoever stole your grill desperately needed it. Like whoever stole my peppers desperately needs a burning pain in their anus.
