What a reply, I always used diamonds in that sense "digging through a mile of shit for a gram of truth". You're not alone by any stretch. We are all supposed to be defined by our views and what we believe, but when those ideas are intertwined and then polarised what chance have we got? There should never have been an us v them attitude, it's an affront to humanity, but hey, division makes money eh?

You could summarize it like that. Imo people just value themselves too much by the money they own. That is why their status is so important to them. They want to be recognized as a member of this or that group so they start to care less and less about others.

They real joke in this one is: In 90 % it is inherited money or status.

There are even complete branches that for most parts operate like this. E.g. lawyers or doctors of medicine come to mind.

Couldn't agree more. I just cant understand why people who claim to be "woke"/"based" haven't got a fucking clue what's happening? There has to be a debate about red v blue, right v left, I did hope that (people capable of thought withouth influence from outside their own heads) those would grow out of the division but it seems they're just getting deeper, we are heading in the same direction as Rome, I want to laugh but its fucking terrifying

Rome went from a Republic to a Monarchy (in a nutshell) with Caesar. Then Nero burned it but they rebuilt it and had some golden times again because some of the Emperors that followed Caesar had more in mind for Rome than themselves. But then Rome first was divided in two "countries" by Christianity basically and then it imploded under external pressure and its own size at the same time. This is imo where the United States are right now.

I don't believe there will come a period of "golden" times for US of A in this century again. They just burned to many bridges with other countries in the last 20 years.

Caesar an Niro are an influence in themselves, you end up pigeon holed again depending on what source you've read from either side "lol" caesar pioneered the divide and Conquer we have now, Nero decided "fuck it, burn it all and start again" Is it better to indoctrinate a nation as opposed to wiping it out and starting again? I just can't get my head around it

The Trump administration imo is so fucked up that it seemingly tries to achieve both goals at the same time.
