Avoided the redesign at all costs on reddit. I do think reddit's old design (and hence saidit's) is a bit dated now, but any redesign needed to keep the simplicity and straightforwardness of its function. The redesign is just a convoluted mess designed solely to put as many ads in front of eyes as possible. It was horrendous.

eta: I actually suspect there is a reason for reddit's shitty redesign and the constant backend fuckups that happen there now with duplication comments everywhere - they just can't get the staff. My theory is the management of reddit is so painfully woke that not many developers can stand working for them. I get the impression the same is happening at places like Google. They just aren't innovating any more.
