We need optional moderation to solve that. The option to turn off moderation and the option to choose your moderator/s. Please push to get this feature created here. Notabug has something like it called "spaces" if you want to check it out but it is very beta and not well implemented I think.

fantastic idea! perfect evolution from the reddit template that worked well until it didnt

Thank you please petition magnora7 and derr to get it. The most basic implementation is a side menu option to make moderated comments/posts either hidden, collapsed or reveal.
