    I used to think the same way you did when I was a kid. Babies are dumb. Why do people like babies?

    Unfortunately....its a biological thing. Humans like things which they perceive as 'cute'. Its both a matter of proportion and a perception of softness/newness.

    Romantic novels are made to prey on peoples want and need for personal relationships. In some ways you can say it is evil and manipulative.

    There are a kind of severe intellectual discrimination towards the group most of the people think they can't under manipulate! They are the reflection of these hideous beings.

    Loyalty is attractive. The perception of loyalty is even more attractive.

    Rebelliousness is not attractive.

      I didnt say that I think loyalty is attractive. People like dumb people and think they are attractive.
